Kelsey is an associate marriage and family therapist specializing in couples therapy and supporting individuals as they navigate the emotional, relational, and physical changes that accompany pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood.
Kelsey’s style is grounded in her belief that everyone is deserving of connection, pleasure and peace. She is compassionate, honest, warm and direct in sessions, and encourages a space of authenticity to support you in your goals. Kelsey is a relational and attachment-based therapist who draws from relational theories (Emotionally focused therapy, Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy), along with evidenced-based cognitive models (I-CBT, DBT, ACT), and enjoys integrating somatic methods (polyvagal theory, somatic experiencing). She is consent-focused, trauma-responsive, and centers your goals, learning style, and wisdom.
Kelsey has been working with families going through life transitions for over 8 years. She spent 5+ years working in non-profits advocating for more inclusive religious spaces and has written children’s curriculum around LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC inclusion. Kelsey has additional schooling grounded in feminist and gender studies from Princeton Theological Seminary and additional certifications for trauma-based therapy (IFS, EFIT).
