Clinical fellow
Kayla is an associate therapist passionate about creating a welcoming, supportive space for those navigating life’s challenges. With eight years of experience working with children and families within the foster care system, she works from a foundation of mindfulness, interpersonal neurobiology, attachment theory, and trauma-responsive practices. She tailors her approach to meet each individual’s unique needs and therapeutic goals as is best for her clients.
Kayla enjoys working with individuals and families in the midst of transitions related to pregnancy, postpartum and early parenthood, helping them process the emotional, relational, and identity shifts that occur during these different seasons in life. Her style is warm, highly relational, and balanced as she brings her clinical expertise, a little humor and her lived experiences as a parent and a partner to her work.
Kayla also supports individuals coping with trauma, grief, and loss, offering a space where painful experiences can be held with care, respect, and gentle curiosity. Whether you're navigating anxiety, identity concerns, relationship stress, parenting challenges, or the impact of past experiences, her goal is to create a therapeutic space that is affirming, collaborative, and rooted in compassion.
